Once you have contacted the enquirer and confirmed that this is a prospective opportunity, you can convert this enquiry into an opportunity record. This will provide greater efficiency as the existing data within the enquiry record will be transferred across to the opportunity.
Select the 'Enquiry > Opp' TAB
What you see next will depend on what the Enquiry is linked too.
If the Customer A/C and Contact are linked but there is no opportunity record you will be able to choose from these buttons:
- Go to Customer A/C
- Go to Cust. Contact
- Search/Create New Opportunity
- Update Customer & Create Opportunity
If you need to link the Enquiry to a Customer A/C and Cust. Contact record you will be taken to this screen. Simply follow the prompts provided. After you have reviewed and/or linked those records, you will then be able to create an opportunity.
Once the Opportunity record has been created you can choose to go:
Directly to the Opportunity record.
Find the Opportunity in the Sales Hub.
OR In the Customer Account under the Related Items TAB.
